INNOWIDE Funding Scheme

This funding opportunity is for European start-ups and SMEs.

We are pleased to share with you that the INNOWIDE 2nd Call for applications for the Viability Assessment Projects (VAPs) – is open for applications. The INNOWWIDE programme helps innovative European SMEs gain access to new international markets by funding viability assessment projects to be deployed in cooperation with local stakeholders around the world.

This call is open to innovative EU SMEs and start-ups with the ambition to develop a new and innovative product-market combination (or process or service) with a strategic counterpart outside Europe; or that need to first check the technical, commercial, legal and socio-economic feasibility of their innovative idea. Each approved VAP will receive a fixed grant amount of €60,000, representing a maximum of 70% of total eligible costs (staff, consumables, equipment, subcontracting, others) which must be a minimum of €86,000. European tech hubs can use this opportunity to collaborate with African tech hub partners as strategic counterparts in providing soft landing support to your portfolio start-ups in Africa.

Our partner EBN, will be organising a free webinar on the INNOWIDE  call on February 11th 2020 from 2:30 – 3: 30pm CET( see attached concept note).
