On 7-8 April 2021, Emerging Valley is organising the summit that attracts a range of stakeholders in Europe and Africa, including investors, start-ups and emerging digital ecosystems that want to increase their international appeal, expand their business relationships and accelerate their impact on a global scale.

– Explore and invest in the digital solutions of tomorrow by connecting with African tech champions

As part of the summit, the AEIP will organise a virtual networking session on 8 April that brings together a total of 12 tech hubs – 4 from Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), 4 from Europe and 4 from Middle East & North Africa (MENA) tech hubs.
The 12 selected tech hubs will have the opportunity to be matched to counterparts from the other two regions in order to discuss and outline mutually beneficial collaborative activities i.e., from soft-landing partnerships, mentorship programs, exchange on best practices, apply for joint funding opportunities, and connect some of their portfolio startups developing similar solutions.
This will be a 2.5-hour tech hub networking session moderated by the AEIP Service Facility Team. The session will start with a round of introductions, followed by 2 one-on-one tech networking breakout sessions, and finally conclude with brief announcements by the tech hubs pairs on their partnership agreements.
